Terms Of Use

Membership is for the personal use only. Books borrowed can not be sub landed to 3rd Party.
Membership is non refundable and non transferable.
Member is only allowed to renew or switch to other plan once the current membership plan duration is over.

Membership Rent and one time registration fee is non transferable and non refundable.
All the Payment including applicable tax must be made at the time of registration or renewal of the membership plan.
Security deposits will be given back in form of cheque only, after one week of intimation of closure of account. Cash or bank transfer of security deposits will not be an option.
Any change in terms & conditions, membership plans, payment structure or any policies would be applicable to all the new and old members from the effective dates.
Registration is only valid after receiving the Payments.

Each book can be borrowed for a month and can renew for another month provided other member has not reserved the same. Only one time renewal is permitted.
If Book is not returned on time, delay charges of Rs. 5/- per book per day will levied. If book is not returned within 2 months than it will consider as Lost and clause of loss of the book plus delay charges shall apply.
Prorated membership rent will be deducted from deposit amount in case the book has been kept after expiration of membership.

Please use all library books carefully and gently.
Condition of book will be checked properly at the time of return. Please check condition of book at a time of borrowing. In case of damage please inform the staff immediately.
A fine amount will be charged for pages torn, marked or water spilled.
If book is reported lost, the member can choose to replace the book within 10 days or pay the value of book. Members have to pay extra Rs 50/- as handling charges per book.
If there is minor fixable damages then member is only responsible for repairing cost.
Any decision made by library staff regarding book damages will be final.

You are liable to pay your pending dues before closing your account and we are authorised to deduct dues from your security deposit if not paid.
Deposit refund cheque has to be picked within the span of one month from the date of membership termination. We are not responsible to give cheque after that.
We will not reissue any cheque if it is Lost or damage or issued cheque has passed its validity date.

B for Books reserve right to terminate any membership or restrict any renting service, without notice, for any or no reason whatsoever.
In no event shall B for Books, its Proprietor, officers, or employees be liable (jointly or severally) to you for any special, incidental, indirect or consequential damages of any kind, or any damages whatsoever resulting from loss of use, data or profits, whether or not advised of the possibility of damage, and on any theory of liability, arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of the B for books library.
